:werd: I totally agree with you. It really bothers me when people that have very good knowledge or specializes in something get tight with their sh*t and dont like to help people out.

Depending on the Math level that you're in... There are plenty of websites around that will solve problems for you, and show you how each one is done.
So if your tutor isn't around and you have a question, these websites will answer it for you.
I've tutored a few friends in math, and have even met a couple of their teachers cuz they couldn't believe how well they were doing. It all about confidence and understanding.
If you try to memorize math, you'll never get it.

Hey, i'm not sure if you still need the help, but i'm down. I tutor underprivileged kids (high school level students, but with math competency around grades 3-12) one on one. I live in the valley but travel to LA twice a week or so. Let me know mister (:
P.S. if you're interested, send me examples of what you're having trouble with so I can gauge how well off you are--or how not so well off you are.

that's stuff is simple enough. post up a problem, tell us what you are having issues with. I'm sure we can explain it over the internet. lol
