i just have a question on how the setup for my aeromotive fpr is gonna be on my sr. i went to a top feed setup and to my understanding its like this.
fuel line-filter-into the fpr-out the other side-into the rail, the bottem port of the fpr is the return line and then cap the other end of the rail. just making sure cause its totally different when setup stock

feed line -> filter -> fuel rail beginning -> fuel rail end -> FPR -> return line

Don't forget to hook the vacuum line up too.

edit: fixed

.... This is a good way to mess up your fuel pump

To the OP. Just picture how your stock fuel setup worked. Aeromotive fpr or not same principle applies. I could tell how it it but prolly better you figure it out yourself.

What??? What I described is EXACTLY how it runs on an OEM setup.

Check it again and closely this time.

^thats exactly what i thought and thats how it is stock but when i went to my local performance shop they told me other wise. why have it after the fuel rail, then its not regulating the fuel coming into the rail. so what they said kinda makes sense

LOL.. Thats actually make no sense at all. The purpose of the FPR is to regulate fuel pressure going to the injectors why would you have it infront of the rail. You should consider going to another performance shop for your sake.

but why have it after the injectors if your regulating fuel for them. im not doubting what your saying since i was pretty sure thats how it was supposed to be. im just trying to understand

The fuel is regulated in the rail. If the pressure (psi) exceeds what you have it set to, it'll release gas to the return line until the desired psi is met.

If you put the FPR before the fuel enters the rail it will not be the desired psi, instead the desired psi will be between the fuel pump and FPR, not in the rail at all.

ahhh so its regulating fuel infront of it not past it. i thought the fuel came in to the fpr, was regulated, sent out the other side and what was not needed was sent down through the return via the bottom port. at least thats what they said

Please do us a favor and never return there. Otherwise you won't have a car for very long!

Whatever you do, don't let them convince you to put a fuel gauge on your return line.
