TOMEI RAS installation QUESTION

im done installing it now im jes wondering if i really have to cut out some part off my valve cover...i have the REDtop....i know the s14 ones need to be cut...i was wondering if its mandatory to cut for the s13 REDTOP...

If it's hitting the valve cover, I'd assume you installed them wrong. Tomei ras will not hit the valve cover on a s13 redtop.

You don't need to cut any part of the valve cover, but you may need to cut the one oil splash shield

in the installation sheet it just says to remove the shield

how its says to remove it...i cut a small part of the baffle in the intake part where the pcv vlave is at....like what the installation guide said to cut jes to make sure...everything fits ok...hopefully everything is good cross my fingers

I was very wierded out, and felt that it was best to retain that...only a few snips of the dremel required on Greddy and Knockoff RAS setups. Never isntalled a Tomei one so it may be really different.

yea its very wierd...but i did some research and supposedly tomei built engines still has thier baffle plate...jes modified... so idk...i saved mines jes incase i install a aftermarket cam or do a rebuild...Sucks seeing information thats very helpful when everything is put back =(
