bolt backing issue

so im in the process of removing the stock bracing in front in order to install a nismo power brace, however there was an issue with one of the screws, the threaded backing inside of the frame rail broke loose and now the nut just spins freely, im not so much concerned with getting the nut out, but its having another one thread in, the only solution for which i can think of is cutting the frame rail open and tacking it back on, any other suggestions would be appreciated, i have included a picture of the problem has any suggestions, thank youhttp://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b92/zaneithan/nismobrace.jpg

picture might be vague, but the bottom of the rail is where the bolt for the stock bracing is bolted on
