The issue starts with my battery being drained, the normal amperage is supposed to be around .5 amps and mine starts around 3.xx and drops to 2.55 while testing milli amps.
This is a 1996 240sx ka-t
I have disconnected the ecu, all connectors on my engine, all fuses, all engine bay grounds, majority of the relay's in the bay, couldn't get one out.
The fan low relay looked like someone took a lighter to it after i disconnected it, not that i use it anyways. My car is setup to always use the fan high.
I took three blue relays out near the inside fuse box, unhooked the two main connectors above the fuse box(uses a 10 socket), took all light bulbs out of the interior lights, headlights, and tail lights.
Noticed about six wires were frayed on the harness near the driver fender. Wires definitely made contact so i cut them and decided to fix them later after the main issue is fixed.
Back to the fuse box, it looks like their are 3 main power wires when you pop out the 1st main fuse/relay bracket.
I've unhooked the two closest to the headlight again with no apparent change in amperage. The main furthest from the headlight being disconnected drops the amps to normal level so its on that circuit still.
All of this and it remains at 2.55 amps :mephfawk:
Confused on what to due next...
