To start off I have a 1989 240sx, I found out that the rear subframe is bent and needs to be replaced, but everywhere around here wants $1200 to replace it. I want to do this myself so any links to tutorials on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

well done, that's actually a very good how-to
few suggestions if you don't mind:
use grease or vaseline on the exhaust hangers to
slip the bushings in or out
no need to unbolt the brackets
don't use gear wrenches to break bolts, fucks them up

Nice guide!
don't use gear wrenches to break bolts, fucks them up
Without a doubt it destroys them!

Thanks man that helps alot. It seems like its an extremely simple swap. I dont know why the shops around here want so much money to do it. I appreciate all the help :) My car has been sittin for almost 2 yrs now due to the subframe being bent and my lack of technical knowledge on how to fix it and money to have someone else fix it. Hopefully I can get the new subframe soon and swap them out. If I have anymore questions about it I know who to come to :).
I do have a couple other technical issues I need some advice on, should I post them here or start new threads for them?
