View Full Version : Seems To Be Fuel Issues With KA24DE...I'm Stumped!

Stock KA24DE in a stock S13.
I was having hot start issues, the car drove fine (small misfire) all around town. I let it sit for about an hour in the heat outside and it didn't want to fire up. I pulled the fuel line and there was fuel getting to the rail, I pulled the return line and nothing came out... After the pulling the lines it fired up and ran with no lines connected. Obviously running on previous fuel that was already in the rail/combustion chamber.
Did some research and decided to swap rail/injectors/reg with another working one I had in the shop. I'm having the same issue still, checked all my vacuum lines and they're good also.
Where do I go from here? I'm stumped aside from fuel pump/filter...Those seem to be working just fine though.

UPDATE:
I can pull both lines, pull fuse pump relay and the car will idle for about 10seconds, shut off and I can still fire the car up probably another 5times. That's a whole hell of alot of fuel getting in there. I can then put the fuel lines back on, re-install the fuse pump relay and then the car will run just fine. Idle, run and everything just fine. Shut it off and immediately the car won't fire up. I pulled the return hose and there's nothing coming out at first, but after a few seconds fuel begins to mist out of it.
