My car (KA) starts only at "cold" starts..It'll start right up first try, then when I let it run for a bit, and turn it off and try to start it right after, all I hear is a single click from the relay under the dash.
What could be the problem, Just something as simple as the starter needs to be replaced?
-Thanks.

while cranking to make sure you still have 12v to the starter motor

all you have to do is replace the ignition electrical switch. Mine went out n sometimes it would start First try or not at all and would play like its getting stuck or low voltage and then stuck. http://info.rockauto.com/getimage/getimage.php?imagekey=2402092&imageurl=http%3A//info.rockauto.com/OriginalEngineManagement/IS16-1.jpg

What this guy said^^^
9 out of 10 times someone complains of an intermittent no-crank it's the switch.

Sounds like it's the ignition switch, but check your battery terminals to make sure there's no corrosion. I was having the same problem and it ended being a barely noticeable light film of corrosion!
