What size injector would I need on a 200whp 10.7 :1 compression KA24E to use E85? Also running AEM EMS. I have E85 down the road now, would like to see if my tuner can get more power out of this set up.

370cc would be about 77% duty cycle

Wait....E85 uses about 30% more fuel. So 370s may be too small. I mean shit I was at 241whp and I was at 100% on pump Haha

dsm 450's
direct drop in. just needs a resistor box for them which isnt hard to come across at all

I guess nobody noticed its a KA E which used top feed injecotors.
So SR 370cc's wont work

Assuming you have a walbro 255 in tank, wire in a secondary inline walbro 255 pump after your fuel filter and up your fuel pressure to 4 bar with vaccume off. A 4 bar setup flows what extra you need for e 85 as long as you pump can operate a 4 bar setup properly (which a intank 255 cannot).
Then no tuning is required for driving to the tuner and just minor fueling changes will need made, its mostly just timing from there.

Got me curious on this setup. 200whp on NA KA24E @ 10.7:1 Comp. Care to share the specs and dyno sheets.

No specs or dyno sheets to offer right now, i'll be sure to post them on my website when I have a set list of what it takes. Its really not all that complicated, from what i've seen from peoples builds is nobody really goes all out on the SOHC and barely on the DOHC. I give props to many people that do more then just an intake header and catback. The motor was carbed and running race gas, im onto EFI and E85. Im not sure if im going run ITB's or a custom intake manifold. I love the KA SOHC, not many people do.
Most people learn on the internet, 99% of people are saying how shitty these motors are because thats what everyone else was told by people before them. Ignore what you hear on the forums, especially when you google a queston and threads from 2001 are all that pops up, its not hard to be mis informed.
Best thing you can do is talk to an engine builder, or an old timer that was into the old L series motors.

I like the sohc for na, but its honestly just due to their sound. I think dohc na ka's sound poopy....
Anyways i got to thinking about it, you could probably do a 4 bar setup on a single 255 in tank on a na setup without the need of the inline helper, but it will work the pump a little harder. The 12v mod would help.

I'm a fan of KA24 in general. Not much on building NA power mainly because of $$=HP ratio but still appreciate a nice build. I've had couple of basic KA24ET setups before and I was also amazed how easy it is to make power on them. Anyways let us know when you get some pics and specs. THanks!

As for your fuel needs. Just source out EVO 560cc injectors and resistor pack. This injectors are decent sized and has less mileage than eclipse turbo injectors. You can get them for cheap as well maybe between 50~80 a set. Stock fuel pressure and walbro fuel pump with rewire mod should be good enough since it's not boosted anyways.
