trying to lower the engine back on to the mounts the driver side is in fine but no matter what i try i can't get the passenger side to line up the stud is almost into the mount its like a fingernail gap untill it would have slid in, i put a rope around the stud and pretty much pulled and that was as far as i can get it, any help appreciated thanks

Take your time and be careful with it. It can be pretty tricky if you just have some floor jacks. Try getting the one stud halfway in first and lower the other side in.

pretty much by my self, its so close u wouldent beleive if u saw, where should i pry? i used a pole and tried pushing the mount down but it just bent my oil filter and dident move the mount at all

and these are stock mounts just trying to put my ka back in

Try getting the one stud halfway in first and lower the other side in.

the drivers side is completely in and dident give me any problems, it was just the passenger side thats stuck

are you using a hoist? if so put a jack under the transmission to help move the engine and keep it steady, if that still doesnt work get someone to sit on the edge of the firewall and push the motor towards the mount with their legs

Just jack it to get it closer to level. Don't bolt it in till last.

Lift up the other side so it's only half in. This will give you more wiggle room.

i used a pry bar with a split in the center. pushed it in with someone adjust the hoist to drop it down. dont kill yourself over it. take a break and get a helping hand.

just to make sure, The mounts are on the engine correct?

if you havent al ready, loosen the mounts, it will give you a little more play

This. Just loosen those 4 bolts on each side of the block, tighten them back down once you've got the brackets on the mounts.
