taking off alternator help

im trying to take off my alternator off my sr20det and i cant get the bottom bolt, the pivot bolt i think its called off, theres like a stud on the side by the belts, and on the otherside is a nut that will not budge for anything, what am i doing wrong here?

You'll need to get that nut loose. Use a pipe, 2 wrenches, etc etc.

ok just making sure theres nothing special to do before taking it off, because that things on there like a mother...
