i can only imagine what that would do to the weight balance..lol

the chevy 350 as well as the 305 are actually not that heavy even when compared to the paper wieght ka24 series engines. I beleve i read that the 350 small block with aluminum heads is lighter than the ka24de with tranny by a small ammount like 35 lbs or somthing. Honestly ive seen a couple vids from canada of a guy with a 350 and a 4 barrel in his his best run at the drag strip was 13.2 so far....sr20det stock turbo with a couple upgrades will do that all day and it is lighter.

I'm still waiting for someone to do a VH45DE swap. It'd be like a Japanese mustang, haha. Damn those Q45s for not coming with manual trannies!

forget weight balance, imagine what one could do with 350 mildly upgraded, or a 327 or 400 small block, wow, maybe a nice lil 302 with one of those inexpensive 6psi superchargers.

centrifigal superchargers are crap tho. a twin turbo setup at 6 psi would be a hundred times more efficent and cost effective and fun!

No, why VH? It aint nothin but a VK thang baby. VK's got a slight power advantage if i remember correctly. Like 60 hp.

w3rd..its alot easier to drop on a blower and a 4 barrel or two and have it run safely that it is to get a properly running turbo set up. w/o fuel injection especially. the twin turbo in the end would be safer and more efficient/powerful, but its alot of time, work, and money.

I guess this can be related to this post... but has anyone seen any new info on a VG30DETT swap into an S13/S14? I remember reading some stuff about it before but I never followed up on if it was actually a success or not.
I also heard someone put a rotary 13B turbo into an S13... but until I see facts I'm gonna take it as heresay.

I said VH because it's cheaper and more abundant. VK would obviously be cool too. Both would be equally hard to install and nearly impossible to get working with a manual transmission though, so we can keep dreaming.
