Check out this post for more information.
The meet starts at 2pm at the below location. We will leave there around 2:30 to 2:45. 2:30 if nobody has called me saying they are still on their way. At Grant Ranch my wife will have a BBQ going. I have Hamburgers, Hotdogs, chips, and Sodas ready for the BBQ. There is an 8 mile drive from the below location to Grant Ranch, and that's 8 miles of alot of really nice curves and corners.
For People showing up a few minutes late call me at 408-393-7005 to let me know so that we don't take off without you. The ranger doesn't know if they will be chargeing that day so bring $4 per car to get in.
HOPE THERE'S A DECENT TURN OUT.
Okay guys. Here's the Address of the parking lot where we will be meeting.
3457 McKee Road
San Jose, California 95127
And here are the basic directions.
From Highway 680 exit East McKee Road. Go East on McKee Road. Pass two stop lights, Capitol Expressway and White Road. After passing White Road it should be about 1\2 mile on you're left hand side. There is a third light which is at the entrance to the shopping center. So if all else fails, when getting off the freeway go East, and make a left turn at the Third Stop light and that will place you inside the shopping center.
There will be pleny of grub.

It was original Set for Sunday, when I first placed the post but I got alot of Emails saying that they would perfer a Saturday Meet.
It is really to close to change, and I already set everything up around Saturday at 2pm.
I hope it doesn't cause to much of a problem... I was aware of Halloween being the day before that's why I set it up for later in the Day.
And hey... who wouldn't like free food and drinks...

I hope it doesn't rain. It says that it won't be raining on Saturday. I'll still go to the parking lot just in case people still show up. I 'm not gonna stand anyone up. But if it rains I'll just throw a small BBQ at my house for those who still show up.

SHOULD WE???? reschedule the meet for tomorrow. It just started raining really hard at my work. I just looked out the window and it isn't plesant out there. It doesn't matter one way or another to me, I just want to know what people think.
Or should I call the park and see if they are even going to be open. Let me know what you guys think right away.
Thanks Guys. David.
:bash: :hammer:
Im still down.. should i show up or are you cancelling it? I'd actually love to drive the road rain or shine. I've never been there before. The current information is still November 1st right? Ill meet up at the mall..Should i bring anything?

Dave...thanks for the food and introducing me to a new mountain pass...that road was friggin crazy bro. it was like playing initial D.. me and Will did like 4 more runs @ warp speed after everyone else left. It was a fuckin phat "touge style i wish i had a camera" type run.. Im still hyped over it. I hope to see you at the next meet and ill definitely pitch in money for the food next time.

It was really nice to hang out with everyone...meet new people, and see old faces. That road was pretty fun...although a times it was a little skinnier than I would have liked it to be.
The ride home was sad because we got stuck behind a car doing like 10mph...oh well.
Thanks again for everything...

 Great meet guys, and I'm glad everyone who showed up did. It was small but it did have a decent turn out. I now atleast 9 cars stuck around for the run down the hill and the run you guys took back up. It was nine cars that came down quimpy.
We really need to do another one just like this one at the park up Calavaras with some more cars. Me, my wife, and my brother will work on setting that one up in the next couple of months so just keep a look out for a post from me.
For all the San Jose guys who wanted to hook up just hit me up on my Yahoo Email.

Thanks Again Guys. And it was great meeting everyone.

I went to drive up quinbee road once i started to drive it started to rain so i went for it anyways, after around 6 or so close calls i finaley hit BOOM hit the back ,right side of my car and then drove away didnt even look at my car, drove to the parking lot where we meet up got out of my car and guess what only the tire was dirty and had some grass stuck in the wheel.

you are very very lucky.
I went last night to HWY 9. I noticed the road was wet, went around one turn, the back started to give, countered steered right away and regained control. Made a new rule to never drive hard when its wet and turned around. On the way back a cop passed by too. Anyways, yeah our cars are not meant to be driven hard when its wet.

you dont have to start name calling . all right i made a mistake so i named a few roads, but also this is a nation wide forum. You dont have to get all stuck up and dont be afraid of cops consatrate on the next corner.

your location says San Jose...you don't have to be a genious to know what part of the nation the roads are in...not to mention this a MEET thread regarding a meet in a specific area...
affraid if cops...directly, no...of the potential to have an "illegal" car impounded..yes...
affraid of ricers in their newly aquired 240's clogging up good driving spots and being dangerous..YES!
just think man...if you knew of the best pussy in the world...would you share it with people you didn't even know?..i doubt it..might tag team it now and then with close friends..but that's about it...

Al,
It's kewl dude... Yeah I think I'm gonna lay off that area for a while too cause I was going up It last night and there was a fucking idiot in a Turbo II and a fucking 86 driving down, and on my way back down the fucking Turbo II's rear end was slammed up against the side of the road and I'm talking total loss type hit.... It's all ready to hot up there... On the way down I pulled over to check my tires like I always do especially since my daym tires aren't the slickest for the rain I saw some cops headed up there...
What kinda dumb
[email protected]&K goes up a road like that in the rain with out knowing what the hell they are doing. I won't even push on a road like that in the rain... The only reason I was going up was cause one of my friends lives near Grant Ranch so I was taking his ass home seeings how he doesn't have a car and that would be a bitch to walk in the rain...
Anywayz the point is, I think we should stick to the many other areas that aren't so overcrowed... To many people Know Hamilton...
Everyone Just Keep Clear this area at night for a while.

Its alright....
My future race car got towed away so my current orange car is going to be my race car now.
All the lights will be taken off so I don't need to worry about going up to hills anymore...
westboroughpimp... When you coming back down here for some more driving...
Anytime David. I might hit up Will tonite..we may go driving but ill stay away from Hamilton....the cops can suck a dick anyways. My car is all legal except my air filter and i dont have any points on my record. THe road is too narrow to use a radar gun, we go too fast for them to follow, and my tires wont make noise on low speeds...50mph on that road. I dont see the big deal, but i'll stay away cause you asked.

11-10-2003, 09:21 AM
westboroughpimp... it's just temporary. Around here it just takes like two weeks for the heat to cool down on most spots. So give it another week and it'll be clear for everyone to ride on again.
Thanks. David.
