View Full Version : San Fernando Valley Meet.....Why not?

Hey guys,

I've been thinking about this long and hard, and I think that we should have a SFV meet. There are almost never any meets around here, so I figure its time for a change. For a date, I'm thinking about the 25th and for location, its between sherman oaks castle and that park that's off woodman & magnolia (forget its name.) Anyways, all of this is still flexible, both date and location, but I'd really like to set this up. BTW, the meet will be open to all non-a**hole nissans (others depending on car/person) and non-sfv people as well, which basically means, come if you're not gonna hate or be ricey. Hope to see you there guys.

I hope you have a another meet during christmas, because that's when I'll be back in the valley from Colorado. :)

hey meng, am close to sherman oaks castle by like a few mins so a a meet close by would be really nice cause I been going to the Life Plaza Meets but its too far. Maybe you should make the meet a little be early like the 15th or 22nd would be good. But any date is fine with me. L8s

Edit: 22nd, I looked at the wrong calendar :D 15th is also a possibility. Depends on how things work out

To be honest, I don't know how many people to expect. Probably due to that, the park (Van Nuys Sherman oaks, or VNSO) would be a better choice in the end, and we can go to the castle if we want to. There are few meets, if any, in the valley, so I was just hoping for the best turnout, without an estimated figure.

krispy kreme in van nuys is a good spot also , i can bring a few 240 owners there if yall wanna meet there . big parking lot and 500 calorie goodness haha .

I dunno about that. I live in vn and the place is crawling with pigs, not to mention that krispy kreme is a donut shop.

Ok Guys, meet's going down on the 16th at Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park if GTPRO decides to (can) finish my car by the 15th. If not, the 22, but I hope for this weekend. Here's the address, its close to both the 101 and 405 freeways:

Speaking of SFV, the Starbucks at Devonshire and Reseda has a weekly meet Thursdays (tonight!). Lots of S13/14/AE86/etc. Last week, we had about 40 S2000's (one with ITB's, several turbo, one full Mugen spec), and a turbo NSX. Lots of late model VW's, too. Some rice tries to creep in from time to time looking for a race, but we just don't pay attention to the cool guys, and they leave. Cops don't bother us either, even though it gets huge (over 100 cars last week).
