Look at the rear fender. That is a pulled fender.

rolling the fenders is when you roll the inner lip of the fender vertically flat up against the fender instead of leaving it horizontal....that 5mm of lip makes the biggest difference in the world when fitting larger wheels/tires..

pulling the fenders is going even further like the pic posted above, as you can see the fenders are a bit flared and you can see the "indentation" where the pulling is...

Hmm. I still don't understand. :P

I thought I knew what "rolling the fenders" meant but now I'm not sure.

i just gave the most straightfoward answer....
go look at your fender, (if its not modified), see how its flat/parallel against the ground???
rolling it would flatten it perpendicular to the fender, in other words, upwards....

pulling it is like almost adding flares, but using your existing fenders...not "bolting" on fenders..... u can sorta use the term "flaring" in conjunction with "pulling", but its not quite exactly the same as most shops/sources say....

haha...they will stop when i am done..lol..dunno when that will be though...:p

and i have not pulled or rolled my fenders yet..the fronts are fiberglass widebody fenders..so now i need to roll and pull the rears in order to get them to match up with the fronts and look better...plus i need to fit the 18x9.5 +12's i'm putting on..

Does anyone if I rolled my back fenders will I be able to fit
19x9.5 +35 offset on a S14 or do I need to pull it too? Just
asking since I want to get the Axis Super Mesh and want 18x8
in the front and 19x9 in the back but the closest is the 9.5.
Thanks,

I would go lower but for the Axis Super Mesh
you're limited to +35 or +45 offset, ideally
I was thiking around the +20 offset range.
My first choice for rims are the Volk's GTU
but I just can't afford to shell out 2600 or
more right now for them.

Dont buy shitty-fitting wheels just because you dont have enough money. Wait till you can get something good. Proper wheel fitmet is pretty much priority #1.

I am in the process of having my rear fenders "rolled" to clear my wheels. There is one caveat though. The flat interior lip is designed to give the fender's edge added rigidity and strength. Just don't lean up against it as it will buckle.

that thinking is a little extreme...it's not like you are turning it into paper...mine hasn't lost any of its structural regidity since being rolled AND pulled approx 12-15mm...in rear...now fronts are another story...they are SUPER weak anyway...so yeah, rolling may affect them more adversly then the rears..

So you got one of those fender roller tools? Nice! :)

How long are you planning on doing this? I could really use your services in a month or so.

Another question, what if I don't know if I'll need the fenders pulled? Like say I had you just roll my fenders before the wheels get here, but I end up needing the rears pulled a little bit, would you charge me again?

Thanks
