No crank sr20det

So i had a problem this morning i was in traffic an my car just died it shut off completely. Now when i turned the key i thought it would start bu no it had no crank what so ever not even the flywheel was spinning and none of my gauges or my radio would come on but my head lights tails and hazards were working. Tried to do the pop the clutch technique didn't work, tried to jump it and smacked the stater and yet still nothing. So any advice? I was told that the starter might have shorted out a main fuse could this be? help apperciated

Start with the basics....

1. Check fuses.
2. Check battery.
3. Make sure the starter ground did not become disconnected.

Did you do anything to the car before you drove it?

If your starter shorted out the main fuse then chances are you ahave a cut in the power wire showing bare wire.

checked everything all is good but still no crank
