Yup, if you roll through certan parts of cali now this and if the po-po have nothing better to do then your getting pulled over.
So just seen today in Beverly Hills one on Santa Monica Blvd just east of Centry City, and also another one going up just south of Wiltshire on La Cienega.

if your cars registration and insurance are up to date you should be fine unless your doing something stupid, or they feel like profiling you. BUT if your car is stolen this could only help

i saw it on the news, they had the alpr on a caprice LAPD car showing it off, they said they have read something like 4 million license plates since they put it on.
as long as they dont mount speed checkers everywhere, that will piss me off.

a friend installs these at boarder crossings and for law enforcement agencies.
these systems do a lot more than they're given credit for.

These are actually pretty cool. Instead of a cop having to check every license plate on the side of the road, the car does it for it. Should help in theft recovery for sure.

If your insured, registered, etc.. whats the problem? This can help find stolen cars/plates, amber alert license plates, criminal suspects, etc... sounds like an awesome fucken idea to me.

yea, this is a great idea! That's your fault if your registration and all that isn't up to date..
