What does this pipe connect too? Im new to all this. It goes to the back of the engine and is not connected to anything and i dont know it it should be or not. i just got the sr swap done a couple of days ago and its already blowing smoke out the exhaust and i have been babying it cuz of the new clutch. I was told that my turbo is blown so im getting a new one i just want to make sure with that pipe not connected it wont blow my new turbo.
thanks

eehhhhh kinda, some ppl dont run coolant lines on the stock turbos and get away with it,
But Nissan believed it was necessary.

Is that the return line or the in line?
My car is leaking coolant in the back somewhere is that it you think?
I have white smoke comming out at idle does that have anything to do with it?

I cant remember, still gonna be pressurized
if not capped properly it will leak
coming out where? Exhaust or engine bay?
If its exhaust you might have a bad H/G or somthing do a leak down and compression test

just do it right the first time dont be lazy and cut corners. Connect the coolant lines.
Funny that you are blowing white smoke out but the line isnt connected...That is definitely coolant being burned...Just go with a new turbo rather than risking a used stock one.

See I thought it was done right till I looked at what was done. Do you suggest what turbo I should put in? Something not crazy expensive cuz I just lost my job.

your turbo sounds blown to me...i would find another stock one or rebuild the blown one and hookup the coolant line to it...your cheapest way outta this...or drive around a blown turbo...just dont try to boost it lmao
