From what you describe, It can be fixed.

BUT, you will have to put it on a frame machine and make sure nothing is bent. If one of your front frame rails is tweaked(depending on how bad) its possible to straighten it. WestCovina's NismoShop will be best bet for OEM sheet metal.
Otherwise a weekend at a "you pull" junk yard with a sawz-all or torch and some tools should have you going again.

The biggest headache and most expensive stuff will be dealing with insurance and trying to justify everything, and then labor from body shops(astronomical >.<).
Though I'm hoping the old asian man that pulled out in front you will have to pay for every dime of your hatch. And no offense, Its hilarious to know hatches cause frontiers to roll.

Best of luck, and hope this helps some.

You have to pull it and get the whole front end, depending on the damage of the frame you might be able to fix it. Until you know how bad the frame is bent you cant tell if its a total loss.

The insurance company is going to total it!
I would let them, then buy it back salvage the title and build a track only vehicle.

If you get a scratch on the bumper of a s13 and report it to the insurance. They will total it. Since kbb on as13 is only like $1500

It needs front upper rails I'd buy a new chasis or tube the front if the strut towers didn't move back

Only a frame machine will tell the underlying damage if any. Looks like the core support, hood and front of the SR took the blunt force of flipping the pathfinder(?).

But I agree with Tubing the front if your frame rails or shock towers are biffed. Follow example of Matt Powers to save a car you love.

Anything is fixable with the right amount of money. Question is, who's gonna pay for it?

did you hit that SUV with enough force to flip it??
How fast were you going??

Yes its fixable that's looks pretty similiar to how mine was and I just went and chopped a front end off of one in a junk yard and then welded it on so if you know someone that welds then it shouldn't cost to much.

jesus how did you knock that suv over??? sad seeing a nice one go down like that. Take the car part it out, salvage whatever you can use out of it, buy a shell and do what you gotta do.

I feel for you. Such a clean car.

It can be fixed, but it really wouldn't be worth it and doubt you could get the insurance company to pay for it.

Piece of advice is definitely do your research on your cars market value when insurance wants to put a value on your car.

insurance will total. fixable? yes

good body shops can do wonders.

I don't see how it's worth it to try to repair it and having to go through all the insurance bullshit over just pulling the engine and taking as many parts and pieces with you and putting them all into a different shell. Unless you have some sort of emotional attachment to your car that I don't want to know about then whatever.

Forget that though, WE WANT TO KNOW WHAAA HAPPEN. And on a more serious not was everyone alright besides your car.

agreed...my own insurance agent told me it wasnt worth having collision on our +20 year old car.

100% fixable but still like people say it still may drive right in the end

you can fix the car but, you dont know the extent of the frame damage, a good bodyshop will inspect to make sure the rest of the frame doesnt have crinches from the accident, even though it wasnt hit towards the rear areas damage could still have been done, insurance will total the car without a doubt also in order to repair this your most likely going to have to pull out the areas of the frame that were pushed in and that is all pretty important stuff in repairs because when doing so, the extent of how much a frame can be pulled has to be correct and measurements have to be made to oem spec so that you dont have weak points etc, its a real pain in the ass, if you really love 240s and want another one, i would suggest getting a cheap shell and swapping everything over, possibly keep the wrecked one, get an sr clip to make it a track only car, cut your front clip and weld on the new one with the sr. Whatever you do good luck and hope to see you on the road again

it would be more cost effective to just buy a decent shell, and slap all of your un-damaged parts onto it. just sayin

Best thing to do is get a shell man. And now is the perfect time to get rid of that single slam :)

the insurance is going to total it, just make sure you get the most money possible off the insurance. then buy it back for dirt cheap and buy a clean shell and swap everything to the shell. thats what i would do, but the decision up to you if you wanna fix it, but i doubt the insurance is gonna help u fix it.

Generally speaking, declare a car as totaled if the costs of repairing it are higher than its Actual Cash Value (ACV). I have a feeling yours will be declared as a full loss, which actually may work out for the best, since the chances of the car giving you problems later are pretty high considering the damages. If they do total it, check Kelley Blue Book to see how much it’s worth and make sure the insurance company is giving you a fair price.
