Cracking Windshield Problem

My s13 coupe has never been in an accident or anything, but I'm now about to replace my 2nd windshield. The first time it cracked was when I was building the car up and had it on jack stands and the 2nd time just happened last weekend, when driving back from AutoX. Is this more common than documented?

Im guessing your chassis has some serious flex. If it cracked when you were putting it up on jack stands then you know you have torsional flex issues and you might want to do what ever you can to add some structural rigidity back to your car.

You probably have a rip somewhere in the chassis. Check around the framerails, door hinge area, and door openings(almost all S13s that are driven hard here split the seam in between the spot welds at about 5 o clock looking at the door opening). Front core support is also prone to going, but I couldn't see it cracking your windshield.
