I havent tried with my R33 fronts, but I know my 527's in the same size clear my rear Z brakes with no problem. I cant imagine you'd have trouble with the front!

The rear are just standard rears, theres no difference, but if you check the thread for the XXR wheels, there are tons of dudes posting pictures of them, and Im pretty sure some of them have Z32 fronts.

I plan to do a brake upgrade on my S13, and I did a lot of homework on the various types of upgrades I can do. So I got my hands on a complete 300zx rear swap, this includes the spindles, 5-lug hubs, calipers, rotors, 2+2 e-brake lines, the only thing I am missing is to order SS brake lines. For the front I got my hands on Q45 Rotors and Calipers, so I wouldn't have to worry about wheel clearance. Also got my hands on Z32 17/16 Brake Master Cylinder. The Q45 Rotors and Calipers should be a lot easier to work with.
+1 for the Q45 fronts. My XXR 962's are heavy, still looking for a Q45 setup for the right price.

I found my Q45 rotors and calipers at the junkyard, got the whole set for around $80, and the same day I went to another junkyard and saw a set there too. This weekend is 50% off weekend, so if I see it there ill probably pull that set out of there. There is usually 1-2 Q45's at each junkyard I go to, I plan to pull a VH45DE motor out of there this weekend for $103, that doesn't include the harness/ecu, but I can always smuggle those out :P
