I sent him money for sideskirts this saturday 10/18, and he replied 10/20 saying he shipped the sideskirts thursday...which he couldn't have had since he didnt have my address till saturday.

I was just wondering if any of you knew if he was legit or not?
(I also noticed he posted 2 different locations..Greencastle, PA & hagerstown, MD [Maybe college?])

Popey, I paypal'd him a week and a half ago for a S14 Cusco rear strut bar. If I don't see something this week, I'm going to pursue this further. I know shipping shouldn't take longer than 5-7 days going from the east coast to west but give or take a few days, I'm going to wait it out till the end of the week.

you ALL really need to ensure that anyone you purchase stuff from sends it via UPS or Fed Ex with a tracking number...that is the ONLY proof you have that it has been sent...anything else is just speculation and hope...

it's amazing to me that people are still getting ripped off out here...havn't there been enough cases EXACTLY like this one to tell people to be more cautious...

and remember..it can be VERY worth it to pay the $7.00 COD fee and just pay with a cashiers check / money order when it shows up...then there is NO worry...if it comes...you pay..if it doesn't...you dont..lol..

I just confirmed this kid's scam. If any admin's would be willing to help, I'd greatly appreciate it. I will now talk to my contacts at eBay and get proper contacts with PayPal to proceed to file a claim / press charges / etc.

Hopefully Devon is reading this and just realizes that he made the worst mistake of his life in taking my money. I wish everyone the best of luck with this punk. He will get what he deserves.

Okay, what absolutely boggles my mind is how people can "rip off" other people on forums, I for one would be afraid of all of these people showing up at my house ready to kick my ass. Secondly why would you be dumb enough to do it because if you rip one guy off, then you know he is gonna post with your username and tell everyone how much of a deadbeat you are and what you got like $300 for something...plus is it worth being caught and having the $*(# kicked outta you, and possible confrontations with the law enforcement....I mean maybe I am just not a dumbass and I realize that if you try to screw someone over its gonna come back to bite ya, plus it sucks because then nobody trusts anyone on forums they take ruin a good way of finding awesome deals on stuff becuase you are always second guessing and wondering if what you sent money for is actually gonna show up....I guess I always use pay pal and secure terms of payment because I don't wanna get screwed.....all I gotta say is QUIT GIVING US LEGIT PEOPLE BAD NAMES!!!!

On a better note, he sent me a tracking number for my sideskirts, but as of now - usps says it was not found and that **it may not be found b/c it was just shipped out. I still have yet to receive either one of my seats. He stated that he shipped the pass. side seat 11/04/03 but did not reply (of course) when I asked for a tracking number. He said he would ship the driver's side seat out 11/10/03 but the last time he bothered to contact me was 11/06/03.

At least the other people are getting their stuff so there is still hope.

devonkyle77 asked me almost 2 months ago to get him a model of his car and he was to pay me back once it arrived. He'd ask me daily if it arrived and once it did i stoped hearing from him. He even tried to renegotiate the price AFTER it was agreed on. 3 times he was to pick it up. the first he didn't show up with money, second time he didn't show at all, and the third time i was left waiting to meet him at burger king for 35 minutes with no show. He's given nothing but excuses. I've offered to deliver it personally to his house to no avail. I've even asked him to let me know if he no longer wants it, he can't even give a response other then he's going to go be a pussy and call the police cause i'm harrassing him about paying me the money he owes. The whole thing is a big joke to him.

Be very wary of any dealings with this shiester. I've been hearing more stories from others screwed over by this guy.
