A friend of mine is about to upgrade the turbo on his SRT4, and mentioned he would sell it to me dirt cheap. From the info I pulled up, it looks like both the inducer and the exducer are bigger on the TD04. This should cause more air to be pulled in AND allow it to spool quicker, if my research is correct.

T25
---------
Turbine inlet - 1.83"
Turbine outlet - 1.59"
Compressor inlet - 1.525"
Compressor outlet - 2.055

TD04
---------
Turbine inlet - 2"
Turbine outlet - 2"
Compressor inlet - 2"
Compressor outlet - 1.5"

This is just the info I have gathered from searching the internet, but my questions are...

1. These are fairly small differences in size, so will it really be that much of an upgrade going to this turbo? I haven't looked up the specs for the GT28 for comparison yet.
2. I understand I will have to get a T3>TD04 flange adapter to run this, but will upgrading the injectors/ecu be needed for drivability? I've done some quick searching and haven't really found my answers yet.

This is the first time I have really started debating on upgrading anything, and as of right now, it's an RB20 with an HKS intake, full exhaust, and Blitz BOV. I have an ISIS MBC, that is not installed yet, but with no controller at all, my gauge is reading 9lbs at times. Does anybody have any insight on what would be needed? I haven't found many guys who have done it, which makes me wonder if there is a reason for it.
