hm. i bought my car with a 'performance' exhaust on it and it seriously pissed me off. still waiting to find a stock one... when people stare at my car at red lights and **** it annoys the hell out of me. i'm tired of 4 door civics and accords (or any car for that matter) tailing me and flashing me b/c i have a s14. don't get me wrong though, i do like my car.

street status and respect and all the 'street racing' bs can go down the toilet for all i care. remember... a car does not equate status.

When I look at other cars I usually think, dang that bitch is faster than me, cuz I always end up looking at cars like Cobras, and M3s, or some of the new sedans out there, and other faster cars.

WHen you drive around you see soemone glancing at your car when your at a red light someone looks do you say to your self "Yeah B*tch keep looking, I know you want it... Sexy huh?! to bad you don't got one! HAHA" or anythign like that?

When you are 16-21, its easy for you to think that anytime someone looks at your car, they MUST be jocking you. As you grow up, you start to realize people just like to look at things, especially those that are different. Nowadays, I catch myself staring at fixed up Civics because I feel like barfing. I mean, I still stare at Lamborghini Murcielagos, but the expression on my face is still the same (just the thoughts in my head, which are different). When I look at the Murcielago, I think to myself "beautiful car, driver probably has NO clue how to use it." When I look at the Civic, I think to myself "Yep, he's an idiot."

If someone looks at your car, give them a nod of appreciation.. dont be stuckup thinking they are jocking you or wanting what you have. I drove next to an R33 the other day, gave him a thumbs up and took off.. not that I "want" the skyline, just showing appreciation for a nice car.

Hell before I had anything on my car, honda peeps were checking out my car left and right, then after my hood and exhuast, they kept staring after they already made a turn and THEN LOOKED BACK lol. I agree with Mike bout the honda's...I live on a long stretch road and lots of fixed up cars zoom on it as soon as they get on. Everytime I hear a deep exhaust note, I don't bother to pay attention to it. Its the same thing with all of them, loud muffler made for TURBO, yet their running all motor setups, thinking they can take on V8's just cuz they got on bolt-ons. Trust me if you ain't boosted by turbo/super or have a ALOT of displacement, your not gonna be making alot of power with bolt ons, no matter how much you spend on it. Dam fugly "euro tail lights", un painted bodykits, and the list goes on and on. I barely have anything on my car, but when I pull up between two fixed up honda's that have kits, and all those exterior stuff...I'm still gonna get noticed more. Just to show, have pride but don't be arrongant with your 240. There's not much fixed up 240sx as much as half of the honda's on the road. Don't make yourself look like an ass or fix it up like one, thats putting down all of us 240sx owners. Most people who check out my car give me props one way another, a nod, thumbs up or whateva, don't be like some of the dumbazz honda's in my area who rev up with their autozone APC muffler thinking their gonna take me. Besides, I roast them on the line all the time, can't beat RWD.

oh yeah......a SILVIA is a J-spec RIGHT HAND DRIVE car, Australia and some Euro countries called it 200sx (SR20 being 2.0 liters), I think in the U.S. is the only place it comes with a truck engine and named 240SX (Ka24 2.4 liters, kinda like the 300ZX with its VG30)

I could not have said it better myself, I find myselft checking out nice cars and if the owner looks at me I normally nod or give a thumbsup. I return the favor to if someone does it to me.
I wish all car guys could get along and not act like dicks towards each other.

I like all cars that are tastefully done and/or fast, and believe it or not some of the coolest guys that I have ran into are older guys who are domestic owners.
