I have a sr20det for my 240sx and was wondering who else besides Tomei make a throttle body for my S13 redtop rwd.......Thanks for any input........and yes i've searched but not that hard.


Or any input about the Tomei 70mm unit would also be appreciated.

Tomei makes an adapter plate to put the 70mm TB from a GTiR on the motor the tb is included in the kit from what i am told though

Veilside also makes a custom TB IIRC it is like 75 or 80 mm but is really expensive plus you need to find a place that can get you one

I've seen the Veilside one but I thought it was a 100mm and I was thinking that is too big unless I get their surge tank (or Intake manifold). I want the greddy Intake Man. and was thinking they should make a throttle body but don't as far as I know.

Get one from a 93 Q45 (91-93 would be fine.) It will fit with Greddy Manifold. Should be around $150.

what do you what the larger tb for anyways SR tb works well i believe that very few if any of the high HP SRs in the US have done this yet IIRC please correct me if i am wrong

Well the main reason I want one is my throttle body sustained some damage, i.e. my throttle rotor is completely broken off. I'd fix it if I could or knew what part #'s to use. Plus I'm shooting for stupid HP #s.

if you are talkin the pully on the side go to jspec and get the s14 pully it is what is recommended for the greddy intake anyways (IIRC) or you can get the short throw attain piece from www.takakaira.com
what mods you planning and what hp are you expecting to achieve?

I'm shooting for 450hp, but 350 would also be nice and it's not just the rotor, the shaft that runs through the center has snaped off, so I need that too. I figure gp-sports turbo up-grade or some other kit, vave springs,cams,Greddy IM,and some 720cc injectors, blaa blaaa I have the gt-spec apex-i exhaust, blitz down pipe and turbo extension, HKS front mount, high flow cat,and some stuff I cant think of. Would like to keep the bottom-end stock for now untill I get a spare block.

What is the size of this Q45 throttle body?

I have 90mm. I heard they are some with 85mm as well (or even smaller.)
