noob turbo questions

Ok, so.. I got this turbo and this guy told me it came off a R32 RB20 skyline.. well google says its off an RB25.. he told me its a T25/T28 but people are telling me its a T3.. I am very unsure about this turbo, I heard you guys can help me out... here is the link where the pictures are at.

My questions are:

1. What size turbo is this? and what kind of turbo?

2. Will it fit a KA24DE?

3. Which part does the oil line go? the hole by itself or the hole that has an oval thing going around it where you can put in screws?

4. Some told me i have to put a water pipe on the side of it cuz its air and water cooled?.... the things sticking up with the hole thru it, what are those?

5. Will a universal actuator work on this turbo?

Please dont flame me, im trying my hardest to understand this, and I have searched everywhere but I cant get straight answers...

1. I'm pretty sure its a RB25DET turbo, its a t28 t3 flange turbo
2. With a t3 flange manifold, surely

What CT said. I recommend reading a book written by corky bell called maximum boost. It will explain the various methods of adding forced induction to a motor vehicle. It's how I was able to understand the whole basics when it comes to forced induction.

1. It is a T3 turbo from the RB25. The 45v(1-4) are from the S1 and S2 RB25 series.

2. Short answer, yes. You will have to get some custom parts.

3/4. It is actually water and oil cooled, but there should be two of each. The oval looking part will be for the oil line. The coolant lines will be the bolts on the sides.

5. I have no clue about the universal actuator/wastegate, but I have an old RB25 turbo that has all the parts. Let me know if you need/want it.

This turbo seems way to complicated. I'd prob just rather go with a t25 and send this one back. Idk.....
