Hey guys. I put an r32 26 in my car. I didn't have an rb25 pump or crank pulley so im using the 26 one. Now i blocked off the rear part of the pump for hicas with a bolt. But a friend told me that my pump will frag unless i gut it. Is this true. And if so any directions on how to make it work

yes... your P/S pump will break if you block it off like that

can't use a rb25 pump, you will loose your p/s cooler and speed steering.

connect the red dots..
it will eliminated HICAS but kept use of the steering cooler and speed sensitive steering. I've been running this set-up for about 2 years now, no problems at all.

the blue dot is where the cooler is located.

(if that car has one)

I just di why the sr hicas guys do. Opened the back of the pump and took out the little metal pieces in the veins.

yeah i know you remove the fins, but its more prone to failure and leaks that way.
