i have yet to find good revies about this setup...4.63 final drive with NA KA? there are a bunch of reviews for turbo'd cars but not really much for NA KA. this setup would be for a track car, so MPG is out the window. how big of a difference is there going from 4.08? how much faster does it feel?

Buddy of mine has one in his car. Livens it up like a mofo, but any sort of highway driving sucks. 5th gear at like 65mph is like 4500-5000 rpm.

I use to have a 4.6 r&p.. on my stock KA. If its ur track car.. It would be great.. I wouldnt recommend it for a daily..You will be able to notice the difference big time..

4.6 kinda too high for stock gearing
4.3 is perfect
add in a lightweight drivetrain and better clutch and you have a fun car

4000-5000rpm going 65mph? based on many sites that calculate top speed based on gear rations and tire sizes, on 5th gear going 3200rpm the speed is 65mph.
i drove 3 hrs straight going 80mph with 4.08 (current setup) at 3500rpm and i got 25mpg.

I had a 4.6 in my 180 with sr20de motor.
it was fun, but very tiring shifting so often.
I wouldn't suggest it for a KA due to it being none high reving motor.
on the truck you would want linear smooth long power band, so I would
suggest saving up the money to go with a mid sizel turbo down the road to cover
the 5,000 to 7,000 rpm the stock KA is missing.
if you do want to keep in NA then spend the money in custom ITB and tuning.
