I have an mgb with a sr20det that I stuffed into it. The problem that I'm having is on deceleration the turbo bumps into my steering rack. I have the stock manifold on the car and what I need to know is if there is a manifold that raises the turbo up a bit so I can clear the steering shaft. All that I can think of is that there has to be some company that makes one that doesn't fit the standard 240 build properly but would work great for me. I'm open to any suggestions, I even thought to look at current manifolds that I could cut and reweld but many of them look have tubes that flair out to quickly for me to just cut 1" and reweld the flange. Also if any one knows if another manifold will accomplish this please let me know.

FYI, I found that the Megan racing one will work if you modify it. Now I have enough clearance for a gt2871R :)

Pictures?

You could run a top-mount log manifold too.

Or you could run solid motor mounts like a man.

add a spacer on the drivers side mount to pick up the motor just enough to give you clearance, we did this to our race car with alum. block about 1/4" due to the starter hitting the collars
