I had my turbo rebuilt and after I put everything back on, refilled the coolant and everything i start it up and it was just all white smoke coming out the back and the temp gauge was creeping up. I never had this problem before having the turbo rebuilt. Any ideas?

I would say you could have an air bubble in the water system, jack up the front end pull the rad cap and let it warm um then shut it off and put the cap back on!

Bad rebuilt ? make sure to RE-Chek.. your oil and water lines going from the block to the turbo... i will say bubble in the water can be posible..but if u have RBs... what motor you running that turbo ? Gl

well i did a comp test the next day and got 60 in one of the cylinders and a shit ton of blow-by so im gonna rebuild it anyways, just an excuse to build it(:
The white smoke was coming out of the exhaust right? If yes it is probably a sign of burning coolant, it should smell kind of sweet. If this is the case, you are either sending coolant thru your intake from your turbo, check by removing intake piping, or you have a blown head gasket.
Nijna edit: Based on your above post, I say HG. you don't need to rebuild the whole motor though XD

It has low compression so it needs a rebuild
