leaky master cylinder / brake booster

ok people thanks in advance, here's my problem:

I noticed my brake light has been coming on, then I noticed my brake fluid was low from a slow leak from where the master cylinder connects to the brake booster.

What is this and what is causing it and how do I fix it?
I really hate brake problems, scares the tar out of me ;)

it means that your M/C is leaking you need to replace it or rebuild it my guess is that the shaft seal is the primary issue but best to do the whole job and not just part of it
