I'm in the middle of doing a 5 lug swap as well as front Z brakes upgrade

I searched but still couldn't find the answers, so I'm turning to the brake experts here...

1- My S13 already have Goodridge SS brake lines, can I re-use these to fit the Z calipers? Or should I get conversion SS lines? I know ppl manage to made the banjo fittings fit into the calipers with no leak. What would you recommend?

2- I'm keeping the rear stock but the rotors need to get re-drilled to 5 lugs, the machine shops here charge too much for a drilling job so I'm just gonna get new rotors...I'm under the impression that I can use S14 SE rotors for the back, Right? Does S14 SE use the same size calipers as S13?

BTW how much do shops usually charge for drilling a pair of rotors?

Thanks in advance!

1) get conversion lines.
2) drilling rotors for me costs 20 bucks a pair at a local shop here in so cali.

not sure. check on freshalloy.com search mdoe..i THINK all 240sx uses same rear rotors just some are 5 lug some 4 lug..if so might be able to get someoens used or a new set of 5 lug s14 ones

Thanks dousan!! you're always the first to answer my questions here :)

I envy you Cali guys can always get things cheaper! The shop wants to charge me $65 to drill the rotors...pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

I am going to disagree with Dousan here :) Re-use the brake lines, there is nothing wrong with using a banjo fitting on the Z32 calipers. Nissan uses banjo fittings themselves on the S15 (which has calipers similar to the Z32 calipers). Just make sure you use new washers for the banjo fitting...

rear rotors are the same only difference is the number of holes in them

if you really want SS lines i believe the lines on SPLparts have a fitting on the end that you can remove to use with the Z32 calipers or leave on for the 240sx calipers. you'll probably want to check on that to be sure though.
