Hi Guys...need some help..

have s14 with RB25det, S2.

Car starts, but when you start slowly throtle it, maybe from 1k - 1,300, got idle problem, same as no power, but pass 1,300, runs good until 5 to 6500 RPM..

After 20 mins drive, evrythings fine.. but when you stop and turn engine off and start again, same thing happened.. and sometime, engine just crank/turn over only but no start.. wait 2-3 hrs and will start again..

FMIC
Profec Boost Controller
Electric fans
walbro FP
evrythings else is stock..

thank you

- this is general for 89-98 Nissan
- to set car into diag. mode, with the key in the "ON" position, turn potentiometer screw on ECU fully clockwise for 2 seconds, then turn it fully counterclockwise. The LED on the ECU will begin to flash.
- first digit = LONG blink; second digit = SHORT blink (ex: 1... 1... 1... 1... then 1-1-1 equals 43 = TPS)

Then look online for RB25 R33 CEL Codes

Sileighty, PM sent.. Thank you..

UPDATE! got code 13 error which is coolant temp circuit..

change the temp sensor (out of 95 300sx ) still got error 13..

do we need to reset the stock ecu before doing diagnostic again?

what other related problem should code 13 have? wiring? ground?

thanks evryone!

yeah you will have to reset the ECU

Im not sure if the 300ZX CTS will work but it might for the S2

I'll check when i get home if they are the same

but yeah your problem is def CTS related now that i read it again (as far as the Hot start problem goes)

UPDATE!!

fix the problem, with the help of Sileighty.

replace Coolant Temp Sensor, still the problem exist, CODE 13..

traced up the wire from CTS sensor to ecu and purple wire has no continuity..

rewired and evrythings good now..

CODE 55!!

thanks Sileighty and to fellow Zilvians!
