I have a s13 sr20det black top and I am looking to get a little more power out of it. I am hoping to get around 300hp to the wheels.
The build I am thinking about doing is -
BC 264 Cams
BC valve springs and retainers
ARP head studs
Metal head gasket (not sure exactly what kind I will go with yet)
Port and pollish
New valves (possibly)
New valve steam seals
ARP head studs
ISIS intake manifold
12ibs on the stock t25
Tuned on Nistune
(stock bottom)
My question is - Will I be able to make 300HP with this build and what kind of problems may I run into?

no, probably around 250~260 tops maxing out the t25. you need to upgrade the turbine to reach 300. those cams don't match the t25 very well either, you cam a motor in regards to the turbo, meaning the t25 cannot push enough air to match the 264's potential. good start though, pick up a s15 t28 and injectors & mafs if you haven't and 300 should be pretty easy.

^dido... if you already have the t25 sell that ishh and invest in a 2871r turbo and all your dreams will come true lol.... but yeah im running almost the same ishhh on my head
BC 264 cams
BC springs and retainers
Tomei RAS
Tomei HG
OEM valves, guides, seals
Isis intake mani(greddy knockoff)
xspower turbo mani(silkroad knockoff) good mani for a cheapo, thicker than most manis out there! actually a tiny bit thicker than the almighty HKS mani... lifetime warrenty against cracking and manufacture defects so I dont give a f%$k
PE1420 turbo rated for 340ish hp soon to be a 2871r
you get the idea before i ripped the motor apart i was pushing just over 300whp on a good tune with no probs:bow:

Alright.
So all that I listed plus a maf, Injectors and better turbo.
Is the s15 t28 turbo the best turbo for the price with the numbers that I am trying to reach?
Also what size injectors would be best?
