i was replacing my stock headgasket on my SR with a tomei one before i dropped it in. After i pulled the head i see this on the exhaust side of piston #4

i think the block will need to be decked? i was going to have the head decked regardless. Can i have the block decked with the internals installed? i guess if i cant ill just go ahead and build the bottom end.

I say build it! and its prob not a good idea to take an assembled block to get decked(metal shavings!) If your gonna deck the head its always best to deck the block too that way your seal between the top and bottom will be a "perfect"... you dont wanna be skimping on improtant stuff like that...it could lead to blowing headgasket/s :)
