Is there anyone out there that re-looms engine harnesses? If so, how much to reloom and extend the wiring so that I may be able to tuck the wiring? I will provide the looming, heatshrink tubing and harnesses. I'm looking to improve the look of my engine bay similar to the Chase Bay Mil-Spec without the disconnecting at the firewall and the expensive cost. It's for a KA24DE S14. Other than that, I may just buy the Chase Bay Harness when it comes out. Any Takers? Lol

That's a pretty daunting task I'm sure lol. What is this. Ka, sr.
You could always attempt it yourself. Buy an extra harness and go at it so you can take your time.

I may just take this under consideration. Daunting I'm sure for those that look at it as taking the easy way out but hey, it is what it is! Lol, and it's a KA.

It's not hard to do, the main problem is do you want it to retain the oe configuration or did you want to do some tuckage, because that's almost impossible to do without the motor and chassis handy to do proper measurements with.

I definitely wanna tuck it all. I guess that I'm going to have to pick-up an extra upper engine harness for reference and start from there with the location of all wiring, measurments and connection points. I have the engine and chassis already. I have a second motorset handy just in case sitting in my garage.

Its cake, remove harness, tear off all the ooey gooey shitty loom, lay up your harness on the engine... routed as you prefer. It's easiest to bundle wires in groups and use LOOSE zip ties until you have all your lengths/routing figured out. Once you have it all laid/tucked, tighten you zip ties and begin looming. Youll have lots of extra wire in weird places.
Dont waste you time on an extra harness/location whatever you said, you're thinking too much... if you have the motor sitting there it'd be pointless to measure anything. Plus you cant measure around-through-over-under shit very easily. Rip it, strip it, lay it and loom it.

Thanks Bruh, if it's that simple then I'm gonna just get at then. I was looking at the fire retardant braided wire loom on ebay that's similar if not the same type on the chase bay harnesses. I'll just order some and step my game up! Some people would stop at how far I've come in hooking my car up but if you're a picky mofo like myself. It's always room for improvement!
