Like i said i founs a rolling chassis in NC and i really want it. Now i live in jacksonville florida and only drive a 240! My ex boss has a flatbed trailer that i could put the chassis on but i have nothing to pull it with. I really doubt he will let me use his truck to drive to and from NC in one day! So what do you guys suggest?

I tried calling rental companies to see if i could rent a pickup with a hitch and none of them will let you tow anything with their vehichles.

I looked into u-haul and they want like $500 for the trip!

My dad might be getting a S10 soon but it will more than likely me a four cylinder and i don't think it could pull it.

Does anyone have any good ideas that won't cost me very much money (ie. under $100)????????

beg you boss to let you borrow his truck. your only other option is u-haul or ryder, both are way too expensive. work an extra shift or something for your boss or try to find another friend with a truck.

personally I think you should just try to find one that's closer. Finding a non-running 240 isn't all that hard, especially if you're in florida, tons of cars there. It shouldn't cost you the value of the car to bring it home, just the math there should make it not worth it for you.

Patience is key :)
