i live in an apartment complex in Van Nuys, California. There wasn't anymore parking in the garage, so i parked it outside on the street. When I go to my car to go to the bank, i look at my left side front bumper and fender, where the sidemarker is... and i discover that my sidemarker was cracked, and theirs black marks all around it, and the fender and bumper is sorta pushed in a little, i know for sure the black marks are tire marks, so it had to be a big truck or something, damnit, i'm so pissed, well... looks like i'm going to get ML320 sidemarkers =D

That sucks. My advice to you is to learn to choose your parking spaces wisely. It sounds dumb, but I've learned to park next to more expensive cars and to park in end spots that only leave 1 side of the car exposed as opposed to both. Also, if its an apartment complex, park next to some car you see regularly...that way you can get to know the guy and he'll be more likely to fess up if he hits you.

yeahexactly what mbmmbmbmmbmmbmmmb said (i think that was his name).
I try and avoid parkin next to someone all together but if i have to i try to go for an end spot or park next to someones passenger side rather than the drivers cos if there is only one person they mightnt even use the passenger door which cuts down on the chances of your door getting a twat!ing. And basically a lot of careful stuff like that.
