im soon about to get a tune for my s14 but im stuck with the device to tune. i know that both are fairly new but im not looking to spend about $700 when i can get a neo for about $400. as of now im running a s14 sr20det with a s15 gt28rs turbo, greddy type s bov, megan racing exhaust manifold, downpipe, test pipe, and blitz nur spec r exhaust, walbro fuel pump and a hks actuator currently at 8 lbs. im wanting to only run 10 lbs daily and maybe 14 lbs at most for fun. i know that i have a stock maf and injectors but im not looking for anything over 300whp. i will upgrade my maf and injectors but i just dont have the money for it. i just want some fun but i also need this car for school and work. which would be best?????

An Apexi Neo is only used for tuning A/F, ie the name "Apexi Neo AFC" Air Fuel Controller, i would not recomend using this device solely on tuning an entire vehicle.

If you were to have only them 2 infront of you then go to the EManage as it is a full ECU Replacement, If you have other choices then i would look into an Apexi PowerFC as it is a full ecu replacement.

Further to this sometimes its better to speak to the person who you would like to tune the car for an ECU choice, as sometimes some tuners dont know how to tune all devices :)

emanage will let you tune timing along with the fuel map.
neo just does fuel map which will eventually lead to blown engines

Very reliable, and its perfectly fine for them modifications.

I had an Emanage Blue on my R33 RB25 high mount etc etc, and no problemos!

I really like using the EManage ultimate. They are real user friendly and you can make good power while using one...

The Apexi power fc is a really good choice too...

honestly, looking at your setup the emanage seems like overkill. i'm running basically the same setup except i have a spec r sr20 and all the bolt ons. stock mafs, stock injectors. the only reason i got it (safc) is because i'm going to be running 10 or 12psi and i just wanted something to tie together all the bolt ons and make the MINOR adjustments needed to run said psi. everyone is right regarding it not being able to control timing but like i said, for such a simple mods list and near stock psi level you wouldn't be altering timing much at all (if any). def do more research and figure it out. but i'll leave you with this. why do you think so many people run safc's with their flashed ecu's? because the ecu is already tuned and they are using it to make minor adjustments to the a:f that might not be spot on from the ecu flash. (basically what i'm doing since i'm still using a stock ecu and just changing the boost)

yea its just i know after my tune eventually im going to go with 555cc injectors and z32 maf so i dont want to have to do another upgrade when i can just retune.
