Not every time but When i am driving my car will stall when i push in the clutch. It's a s13 sr20det blacktop with modded s15 t28, 740 injectors, ROM tune, and Z32 Maf
My car is running pretty rich and I plan on getting a retune in the very near future. I'm thing this is my problem.
Also I checked my vacuum everything is good and I am running open BOV HKS ssqv III. I like to think that recirculating is not my problem, but who knows. Also I heard replacing my coolant temp sensor for the ecu could fix my problem.
Any ideas?

especially with an already fat tune.

well i used a hks bov (atmosphere) for awhile and i never stalled. it did run rich though.
run a recirculatged and ur car will run fine.
i recently switched to a JGS BOV. runs rich still but its still good. no stalling problems here

idk, it doesnt just run rich in bettween shifts, it's constantly running rich and then sometimes when it shuts off on me, it gets hard to start it again, like I will have to holed the key for a few extra seconds for it to even start, and then as soon as it starts the idle fluctuates really low and almost stalls, dimming the lights and everything
:/

at idle, you push the clutch in.. does it stall out?
under boost when you push the clutch in does it stall out?
do u have a wideband o2 sensor?

Typically under boost but even at times not in boost
Never in idle though. And no I don't have a wide and o2
Sometimes when it does stall put it's hard to start and takes longer to start it.
Im also reading a little about the possibility of coolant temp sensor?
And maybe a retune will help?
It also eats up gas fast.
No gas leaks

A couple months after I upgraded to t28, injectors, maf, tune, peak manifold, blitz boost controller... Ecu was tuned with all that stuff on a different SR20det and I bough All that stuff off my friend and slapped in the ecu he had already had tuned in. Ran fine for about 2 months then started doing it. It's been a couple months it's been doing this now. Did it a couple times at first then progressively got worse and worse

it ran fine with this set-up...so unless the BOV is sticking open, it has nothing to do with that.
id get a wideband A/f gauge

Yeah that wouldn't be such a bad idea. I plan on retuning soon and hopefully that will help and the bov isnt sticking open :/

I've searched so many forums/websites throughtout the past couple months and there is NEVER a solution, I've probably looked at 100+ different sites with an issue similar that is never resolved or no one posts how they fixed the problem

Same problem here. Till you get it fixed let it die while you still have momentum and pop the clutch in the appropriate gear.
My ignition switch going bad compounds this problem.
I think tps, but i cant get a reading from it to even try to reset it.

Yeah that's what I usually do ^ except when coming to a stop i have to start it again with the key
I tested out 3 different ignition swithes and didn't see any problem...
this really sucks

I know someone's out there that had this problem and fixed it, so many SR's with so many of the same issues, I know the right person will find this thread!

I'm going to have to get a friend that has the tool so i can check that...also im hooking up my new wideband this weekend and replacing the coolant temp sensor.
I've started thinking maybe TPS could be bad also??
