hahaha well i dont know who taxes you $450-$500 but theres no way im going to let it go for "$50". Theres a shop right here in socal that does full turbo rebuilds for $250. Please guys, no insulting offers.

they rebuild ball bearing turbo's for $250? According to garrett, ball bearing rebuild components are not available, you have to replace the whole CHRA. I could be wrong on that though. Are there aftermarket rebuild kits for bb turbos?

Yes ball bearing turbos are rebuildable but not worth it as it cost too much - might as well buy one in good shape.
But the OP needs to post up the #'s on the metal tag so you will know if its ball bearing or not.

its ball bearing for sure. and you can go buy a used one thats in good shape or you can spend the same amount to rebuild this one and u'll have a turbo that is basically brand new.

like the other guy said. ball bearing turbos are not rebuildable. you have to replace the chra and itll cost like buying brand new one instead.
