Ok. long story made short. I ordered some Threebond 1211 from a local machine shop. When it arrived, it was Threebond 1194. They tried to tell me that they dont make the 1211 anymore, anyway.

I have looked at the characteristics and propeties and they are different.

ThreeBond : Product Information : 1100 series : 1194 (http://www.threebond.co.jp/en/product/series/sealants/productdetails/1100/1194.html)

ThreeBond : Product Information : 1200 series (http://www.threebond.co.jp/en/product/series/sealants/1200list.html)

My question is; can I use the 1194 to assemble my sr20.

I searched the forum and found a post about liquid gasket. It only really talked about what types people use.

Thanks

Looks fine to me.

with a 2.5% shrinkage in oil and even less in 50/50 mix, it looks like you will be ok for anything you would be using liquid gasket for...
