Greetings! New poster here. Back in 1998 I purchased a 1998 240SX SE. I had intentions of modding it and purchased an HKS catalog. HKS, at the time, had either a 1997 or 1998 Red 240SX that they were making a turbo project. They turbo'd it and did a few more mods, and some subtle cosmetic mods as well. It was a REALLY great looking car. I have been trying to find pictures of this car on the web for the past 3 days or so, unsucessfully. I've gone over the entire HKS website and can't find it. Posted on their forum, and can't find it. And was wondering if someone here, might possibly have a picture or 5 or 6 of it. Thanks in advance. Oh, PS, I searched and couldn't find any threads that I looked in to have this/these pictures. Thanks. Moderators, if you need to delete this, feel free (sorry if I have broken any rules). :)

I no longer own the S14. Although one day I'll pick up another 240 as a second (or third) car. I've owned 3 240's over the years (and 3 Z's as well). Thanks for any input! Nice site you have here too.

was it the red one with the HKS power sticker across the side of the car. I have a SuperStteet with the article about it.

Yes. The HKS Sticker was angled upwards toward the rear of the car (IF memory serves me correctly). You wouldn't have any way of scanning that in would ya? Thanks for the reply....I'm 98% sure that is the car I'm thinking about. :)

?
what kind of response is that? is that a question? are you trying to imitate a 'slow or special' person?
A friend of mine went to the street legal drags at the stadium here.
That car was there, surrounded by some kids and an older guy.
He asked the guy about the car. Guy said it was donated.
No turbo kit, just wheels & suspension.

Does that clarify things?

bah? wtf.

my guess is HKS decided a KA-turbo kit would be too costly, problematic, unpopular, etc for them to produce one.

Zmarco, for some reason the name sounds familiar. Mach V boards per chance? I was on on it pre-dsmtalk/tuners, when it was the biggest and practically only large board at the time. Those were the days that I drove a 95 auto gst, waaaaay back.

Sidenote:

From the day I read that article I longed for a midwing like that....they still kinda look nice to me.

And Vodka, yes that is me from the Mach V board. I'm still there. Driving a 95 TSi AWD now. This is what I used to drive back in the days you were talking about.

I don't know about you guys but I have seen way better looking s14s than that one, looks almost stock but with some ugly wheels, nope, don't like em.

I have to agree, those are some fugly wheels... and the wing? eugh. looks like a mkIV supra wing!... the thing doesn't even have the optional S14 front lip!! :o What I do like though, is that intercooler peeking out, and the front brembo big blacks.

I dont dislike the wing, I think it looks simple. Personally, I dont like ANY wing.. but hey, that one isnt bad. Besides, that car was featured LIGHT YEARS ago.. shit, dynamax exhausts and strobes were cool back then, you damn noobs.

Second, the rims look kinda like R32 wheels.. I dont think they're all that bad either. Overall, the car looks pretty simple (I am pretending the stickers were NOT on the car while saying this).
