quick Q: True or False (sorry to sound so scantron'ish)

for s14 5 lug conversion, z32 na hubs will bolt right up, without any other parts like spindles or diff shocks (aka z32 shocks). (counting i have already 5 lug rotors, rear s14 AGX shocks)

:aw:

im good at guessing on scantrons, so im gonna go ahead and guess "no"

disclaimer: this is a completely undeducated guess, do not take anything i say as valuable information. if irritation occurs, please consult a physician.

YES

(ive done it)

just hubs in rear and redrill your rotors
no need for new spindle
no need for new axles
no need for new calipers

yeah, to use the rear upright, you have to have the z32 shock mount. I have z32 NA hubs on the rear of my car as well..

z32 rear 5 lug hubs will fit...
for front just get SE 5 lug hubs from junkyard or dealer

im sure turbo ones will work as well

looks like since all u need is the z32 5lug hubs to do the 5lug conversion [rotors of course too] ill be going out to find some for my rear

that is what most people tell me. I'm going to take it to some guys to do it for me. They will do the fronts and rears for $200. For me this is worth it since I dont' have a garage. Don't want to freak out my landlord while my car is in pieces :D

Anyways, these guys used TT spindles, hubs, uprights, and brakes:

I am going to ask this place to put the TT hubs in for me. if they find that it wont' fit, I will just get 5lug hubs from S14. I will find out and let you all know.

Thanks guys.

Guys...despite what SCC says (good mag, but bad info sometimes...), I beleive the Z32 TT uses larger axles and different hubs. It does, in fact, use an R230 diff...so that's a warning sign.

I think SCC added the "TT" tidbit based on assumption...I'd bet the setup they used was from an N/A Z32.

Thanks Brian.

I purchased spindles off of a z32, but the tag on it was all warn out so I coudlnt' tell if it was NA or TT.

The spindle had axles, upright, hubs, rotors, caliper, brake lines, some arms still attached.

Does anyone know how to tell the difference whether it is from NA or TT? Brian said that TT uses larger axles, what is the size (in metric), etc.?

Thanks.

The TT hubs do have a larger opening, and they don't work.

No Idea how to tell without sticking them on..

There is no "Spindle" in the rear. Spindle's are on the front suspension. a spindle is a rod or pin which the hub spins on. The rear has no "pin" because the hub is attached to the axle.

btw- All of this info here is for the REAR hubs only. Z32 front hubs don't work. If you do a Junkyard front swap, then you will need 1 S14 ball joint, spindle, Rotor, Strut bolt(2), and hub for each side. Stock s13 calipers will work fine. If you don't mind a couple degree's negative camber you can use the s14 lower control arms with s14 ball joint(s14 arms are a bit longer), instead of having an s14 ball joint pressed into your s13 lower control arms.

oh ok.

I didnt' get teh front spindles from the z32, only the rears

so the upright, axles, brakes, and hubs.

yeah, i think that is the only way to find out if they are TT or NA

Thanks
