Well 3 months or so ago i managed to get 16.1 as my best with no shortshifter and bald tires.
Yesterday i did 10 runs and got 15.8-15.9 consistently which is pretty good compared to 16.1
The event started around 8 am till 5pm so i got my moneys worth this time.
I currently have these mods:
Injen short ram and cold air extension
b&m shortshifter
Apexi N1-dual
Bridgestone re730s 205/55/r15
I took off the extension for about 9 runs and couldnt get any better than 15.891 but then at the end of the day when it was extremely hot i put back the cold air extension to see the differences and got 15.865. The 15.891 is done 11:30am so the cold air could of put me into 15.7 or better in the morning when it was cold. Well i dont have a scanner but ill soon post up my times. for now this is what my best time was:
R/T: .745
60': 2.291
330: 6.592
1/8: 10.164
MPH: 69.63
1000: 13.248
1/4: 15.865
MPH: 86.24
Like i said this was done at 430pm and my car was really hot cause i ran like 9 times. Is this time about right considering the mods i currently have? Post up some time slips so i can compare. thanks

Great going!

You got to get that reaction time down. 7 tenths is not where you want to be. You need to second guess the tree. Imagine your times if you would have lowered it to about 1/10th. The 60 foot time can be shaved 4 tenths as well. I think the key is getting moving fast off the line. Rev to about 3K and pop it. If you experienced wheel spin, you got to look at the tranny and motor mounts to get the power pushing down hard on the rear tires.

Well...you are improving...but in my testing, the CAI, unless it is in fresh air and not under the hood is simply a noise maker.
