My new Rad (Koyo for KA). Fits like it should.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/IMG00255.jpg
-------------------------------------
since I am lowering the car, I needed to move the wire harness that runs inside the driver side fender.
I removed the fender got rid of the white and black harness holder thingies, hammered as seen in the third pic. I used one hole already there and drilled a hole to attach with zip ties above the ridge. I ran the hood latch cable inside the engine bay through the triangle hole near firewall and along the frame rail.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/IMG00262.jpg
-----------------------------------------------
I also ran my fuel system using the corvette filter regulator (Wix from Rock Auto). I had to change the configuration of the mounting bracket and used a self tapper to attach under the frame rail.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/IMG00240.jpg
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/IMG00242.jpg
I used Russell adapter fitting: RUS-640940
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/RUS-640940.jpg
I cut down the ends on the filter/regulator and used the factory return line and a new feed that was the perfect size. I removed the hardlines and ran -6AN line up to engine bay. I used heater line with a slit to cover the braided line where it comes in contact with the fuel tank, as not to rupture it.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1672.JPG
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1667.JPG
I will use some heat sleeve where it comes by the header and this fitting to attach to fuel rail: RUS-640853

I cut off the brake dust covers but was sure to leave tabs that I will later use to attach brake ducts to.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/IMG00264.jpg
Installed some front suspension pieces.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1530.JPG
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1529.JPG
I finished the conversion from auto to 6 speed. I took the dash out to get the pedals in and cut the hole for the clutch master cylinder.

I installed the Max rear sub frame aluminum collar/shims. After looking into this further I wish I had bought Stance because I machined out the Max to look like the Stance because the stock bushimgs interfeared with the Max items.

Put the Fueled Racing oil pan on. It came with a custom pickup and stud kit. Notice the trap doors to keep the oil where it belongs.

Motor and trans ready to go into car:
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1669.JPG

http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1602.JPG
Took the motor back out after test fitting the headers and making a list of things to do before the motor goes back in for the final time.
I started by taking out the AC evap and making these plates to cover the holes.
I also put some fire sleeve over the fuel line after seeing how close the header on that side will be.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1667.JPG
I am also in the process of trading all my Vette accessories for 98-02 Camaro accessories because my intake has no room with where the Vette PS res mount.
CDriver

Motor and trans back in with Camaro accessories so my intake will clear.
I Installed the drive shaft, fits perfectly.
I installed the driver side header and it does not interfear with the steering knuckle at all.
I also hooked up the fuel line, radiator including hoses, fans, clutch master cylinder, wire harness, 300ZX brake master cylinder, vacuum line for brakes, pro 5 0 shifter and Ford SVO 30lb injectoers (36lb on GM fuel pressure).
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1690.JPG

http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1679.JPG
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1685.JPG
OK so I got around to installing and plumbing my oil and PS coolers. I ran some thick foam tape on the bottom or the rad support and used the tops of the Earls cooler brackets along with some threaded rod.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1713.JPG

http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1739.JPG
For the steering rack I used the Fueled Racing fittings and XRP AN -6 straight and AN -6 30 deg fittings. It's a tight fit how I ran it but it worked.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1735.JPG
I also mocked up my intake, hope the hood shuts.

I used the 2Fass240us brackets for Wilwood Superlights and (350Z Track) rotors:
Here are some pics:
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1777.JPG
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1780.JPG
I also had time and a little help to install the rear suspension and 300ZX rear brakes. Yes I know I need to paint the rear calipers.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1756.JPG
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1754.JPG
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1764.JPG
I took off all the Vette accessories and traded for Camaro accessories so I would have room for my intake and not have the alernator on the top of the motor.
This side is done:
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1929.JPG
This side is not so done, I'm still wiring everything and it's not easy.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1931.JPG
My seats and steering wheel came in (seat not mounted).
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1932.JPG
I made a flywheel cover because that's one thing the Fueled kit was lacking. Notice anywhere the braided line is near heat or another surface I used the firesleeve. The braided line will cut through shit over time.
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/drivermotorsports/DSCN1934.JPG
See in pic where I mounted the oil filter relo:

Nice build, keep it up. Still debating between fueled and Sikky swap kit. Downfall to both is that the headers go beneath the frame rail on both kits. Any input on how Fueled's kit is? not many review on it from what i can see.

I had a buddy do it for me but I know he shimmed the pinion front to back not the ring gear side to side.

Exhaust is done, will get some pics soon. Want to get roll bars and racing seats installed but for now I will just bolt in stock seats and get it on the road. I still need a tune and alignment before I can drive it. I'm sure I'll have some bugs to work out as well.

I love the Fueled kit. Everything fit like it should and the quality is very good. I really liked the oil pan because I plan to track it and need oil at the pickup when high G cornering.
Did you do the work by yourself? How long did it take you? Lookin good!
I did most of work with help from friends. Actual man hours was not that bad but finding time to work on it was tough, I've been working on it for many months. Lots of time spent on research and I'm probably a bit more meticulous than I need to be. I worked on it more as a hobby.

I was going back and forth on wether to get 17's or 18's but I want to track it so I figured 17's are a wiser choice for that. I would really like some 18" black polished lip SSR Professor SP1's for the street but that's a wish list item for now.

Make friends with local club racers if you haven't already... You can normally find at least one that splurged on some scales that are not normally in use. Seems to be pretty easy to talk friends into letting you borrow that sort of thing for a weekend.
Also liking the build. But wishing I found it once it was already done, lol instant rewards.

It was the 1st car I had to wire so took a lot of research for me.
The Fueled kit fit great, I had zero problems. I felt the Fueled oil pan would be better for sustained high G turns. Also you get the PS lines and headers.
blueshark123
04-06-2011, 10:35 AM
yea research takes a while but actually doing it when u know where it all goes was very simple and the only thing i like about the fueled kit was it uses a metal pan instead of aluminum but baffle wise i think they do the same. I still think sikky mounts seemed better.

When I ordered the Fueled kit, sikky still had the V2 pan and people were having oiling issues in sustained turns and spinning bearings. I have no idea what the new V3 pans from sikky are about. Also the Fueled kit comes with more and cost less. I like the Fueled motor mounts over sikky because they are not solid but dam close to being solid.

You need to run the PS lines through the cross member. I took lots of pics so you can see the routing:

Cdriver, Cool swap, I can't wait to get mine to a point where it'd be worth putting a build thread up.
btw. JaredP, you'd know that he used '6 AN line after moving the hard lines and that he heat wrapped it and used the Corvette fuel pump with built in regulator if you'd read through the thread. GOOOSH (in my best Napoleon voice)!!!!

Well I finally was able to get to the dyno and tune my car. Thanks to PJ and Black Ops Motorsports. My first pull was 432whp and by the end of the day it was 452whp and drivability was greatly improved as well.
Before I went to the dyno I worked on my intake and added an oil catch can. I wanted to make my intake a cold air intake as apposed to a hot air intake. My intake air temps are now 10-20 degrees above ambient, down from 60-80 above!!!
