this is probably a dumb question but I'm pretty dumb.
So how do you take out the s13 fastback tail light assembly?
I want to remove the orange filter (it is just a filter right not part of the plastic?) on the turn signal so it is just whitein below the break lights.
Any tips anyone!?

Dumper, how you been stay brah?
The orange part is colored plastic. Taking it off is a pain in the ass, and requires scraping of sealant and shiit. Its not worthdoing, cause when you take it out, what it under it is ugly as hell. We did it to a pair of lights over here. It would look good if you can find clear plastic that isn't all textured like the **** they sell (it looks like ass), and then put the clear plastic over it (after bending and cutting it to the shape). All in all, much easier to just order some from Mike at Clearcorners.com, his name here is Old_S13, hes the owner of www.clearcorners.com
as for taking them out.... if you strip back the rear interior (i dunno if you still have it in or not) it should be pretty easy to tell which bolts need to be taken out to pull the tail lights.

add ".orig.jpg" all custom work, the guy said it was a pain, but practice makes perfect. He also did say that he would do some for other people, but then dissapeared:coolugh:

So the orange can be scraped off the plastic?? Or the plastic is orange thru and thru?

it's molded that color. changing it requires replacing the plastic itself with clear plastic. To my knowledge, unless you want ot go at it yourself with cheapie fluorescent lighting covers, silicon, and a lot of patience, clearcorners.com is the only way to go, hit up mike (old_s13) or go to their site for details.

Mike at ClearCorners aka old_S13?
I doubt he would tell you how he does it, but even if he did he probably does it the more expensive way since he does multiples.
To my knowledge it can be taken off without inserts. The guy whose pic I posted told me how to do it, but I figured he would come back and sell some but never did. I just remember there was some blue residue on the corner of his lights, so he used something to take off the orange. Buy a set from the junkyard and play with it.

Yeah that's him. I didn't email/PM him on how to do it though, I just sent some general questions about buying them from clearcorners.com (ie: shipping, exchanging lights, etc)
