Thats right! Your new server is live. Took about 4 hours to get it all to the new server and make sure its all working right. You will notice that some stuff like Reviews, and Gallery wont work right. I will work on that on Monday... Ive wasted enough of my Saturday! Time to get to work on my car!

Anyways, thanks to anyone who has supported the site in buying titles or donations! There is still allot on our Credit Card, so feel free to help us pay this thing off!

Wait, so you mean to tell me that we're on a new server now...and it works...and we didn't lose any posts...and...wow, nice going!

Nice job on the title too :)

Edit: before you move to the new location you should post the new IP so we don't have to go without zilvia while we wait for dns to do it's dance :)

Good Idea, I will post the IP address next week. We will move the server on Friday afternoon.

Edit: Just noticed asp isnt working, Ill have to get that and install imagemagik so the the images for the gallery section and reviews works right.

Hey West. Congats on the new server.

One prob though. It looks like there is something wrong in the reviews section. All the pics and reviews are missing. I tried to upload a new one and I got an error. It looks like your perm. upload dir is either non-existant or has the wrong permissions.

yay new server. but i was pissed earlier with no damn zilvia. i caused problems and pissed the security forces off. o yeah did you know the gallery doesnt work right :D just playin dont ban me or nothin lol.

yesterday was so boring cause i couldnt surf zilvia at work yesterday so not fair. i work from 3pm-11pm so you know damn well its boring. this also forced me to smoke a whole pack as well. that was fun though.

Ok, Got the SMTP Server Working (might change the software if I find something better)

ASP/SSI etc works, you can browse the rest of the site now without errors.

win serv 2k3, eh!!! i think forums like this running php would get the best performance on linux/unix (given the same hardware).

good work nontheless ;)

Some of the other software that we need, doesn't run under Linux.

Bah! F that, Linux is a big pain in my ass. Ive made several Linux servers and decided they blow chunks for all I do. We run all our monitoring software on linux, and soon to be a topsite of some secret kind.

OK. Yesterday I installed a new Banner/Ad Server Software that is PHP based and runs ALLLLOOT faster. Adcycle was going to need to be rebuilt anyways since when we built the cgi it somehow took the nissantrader.com domain of ours. All is fixed and running smoothly now. Should be faster, more accurate, and waaaay cooler for the advertisers. :D Now ti figure out Reviews/Gallery uploads.

Servers come in all shapes and sizes. Of course in the old days they were as big as your house.
