I purchased my 240SX um.....crap..Feb 2002 was it?

I can't remember. I first registed on a 240SX board (FA) on 10/16/01

Real intrest of the 240SX was summer of 99 when I saw a s13 hatch that i really wanted

Bought my first 240sx, a 93, because it was the first sports car I could afford. Basically so I could just say I had an import.(sigh).sad. Anyways that was September 1, 2001. Wrecked it. The second came a little over a year and 3 cars later on January 8, 2003, A 90. Sold it because it was automatic. And the present one came again, 3 cars later. Bought it August 2, 2003. My friends all ask why I didnt keep my Tsi or try for something different with more power. But damn I love these cars!

I REALLY wanted a Z32, but my parents said no to the idea of me buying a twin turbo 2 seater. So i did a little more research and we came to a compromise.....I got a 240. :D

now that i'm a little more "educated", i'm so glad i got an S14 instead of a Z32. I have a hard enough time with this car...imagine me working on a Z... :eek:

Well, there was no bandwagon to be jumpped on at my time. I mean, I couldn't drive pre 2000. And the 240 craze caught on at the most, a year ago. I had tons of korean friends and one who went to japan ever year. And he brought back a mag and a evo 5 tamaya model one time. And I saw Komatsu's 180 w/the s15 front end and I thought that's how fast backs were suposed to look. :D So that was around '99-'00


But yeah, my search for my 240 only lasted 1 day.

So basically I got my 240 for free. I'd get $725 every wednesday of every month in backed child support from the state. I would save it, and it turned out useful. Blast the day I turned 18 and the state stopped the checks!

Got my S14 a few weeks ago (95 SE) but the first time I wanted one was back in 1994. I was at a dealer showing my parents a nice black S14 SE (They were there to put a down payment while I took the monthlies) and they had 2 in stock. My dad's a Z-car guy so he was happy I was getting a Nissan, but when the paperwork came in the monthly payment was too much for my budget so i ended up getting a 200SX SE-R instead.

Worked the hell out of that SR20DE; back then I was into drag and my fastest run @ Pomona was a 13.4... but whenever I'd see a 240 on the road I'd still think about it... then about a month ago some high school kid came up and offered me $6500 for my SE-R (KBB was low 4's) so out with the B14 and in with the S14 =)

When my dad saw the S14 he smiled. He still remembered 8 years later that this was the car I wanted back then!

May '03. Someone hit my 93 Camry while it was parked on the street. Totaled. Took me three months to find another car. In that time, I checked out a '91 FB, '96 SE, '95 base model, and a '98 se. Settled on the '95.

june 2002. i bought my car from a lady who bought the car new in '92 and pampered it since then. it was always garaged and maintained perfectly. she even took it in to the dealership to have the black tape that goes around the car replaced because about half an inch of it was peeling off. the car passed smog better than my friend's 2000 accord... and now i'm beating the **** out of it. yay!

well i got my first one in nov of 2000. i think,...something like that. well i was previously a honda boy(owned an integra and a civic) really into the show scene aswell. then hen i got my 1990 24sx fb with low mileage mint conditon (my dad babied it since the day it was off the lot) i threw a body kit on it and rims, and intake and a huge apex-i dunk muffler and sportlines and kyb's, etc. then i ran it into the back of a truck. @ that point i was starting to get sick of my rice mobil. so i got a veilside frontpiece molded on, eastbear projector headlight, carbon fiber hood, 5zigen fireball catback, and then i sold it in august of 2002 for $7500. HAHAHAHAHA:boink:
then ibought my 1992 burgandy 240sx coupe SE, fully loaded minto condtion for $2900. YEAH!
