kay, so i got an o2 sensor from a 91-92 infiniti G20 w/SR20DE, It is the skinny type with the 3 wire connection, it connects right into my sr plug perfectly.

Now my question is, How can i tell if it is working properly??? Would this o2 sensor work with the Sr20det, since the g20 has an SR20DE???

I dont have an A/F ratio gauge, so is there any other way to tell if its working properly, besides the fucked up Rich smell????

Thanks in advance.

I have an S13 Redtop Sr20det if that helps at all. . . .

you could try to pull a code from your ecu to see if your getting an o2 sensor code to see if its actually working.
other then that i donno

Not sure the compatibility of the G20 sensor with an SR20DET, but its common knowledge to use the '87 300zx Turbo oxygen sensor for the redtop SR.

According to Nissan FAST

The SR20DET O2 sensor is not used on any other engine.
The DE P/N is different from DET P/N

So the DE wont work with the DET.

There's working and there's working correctly. Just because the plugs mate up means nothing. You need to know what each wire does and take note, mate that to your harness.
It should work! If it's the correct Titania 02 sensor it should work correctly. You should clear STFT and LTFT or self learn before start up for immediate notification thru consult.
With consult port and program you can watch/see when the engine enters closed loop also the activity of the 02 sensor.

I'm getting a little long winded, but it does answer your question. Just a lil technical.
